Many coffee brands celebrate National Coffee Day with discounts or even free cups of coffee. But Bruvi and LAMILL took it to a new level by hosting the “Brew it Better” Giveaway Event. On Sunday, September 29, 25 early bird Angelenos who visited the LAMILL Cafe in Silverlake and purchased a box of LAMILL B-Pods were gifted a Bruvi single-serve brewer. While many of the recipients arrived extra early, a few lucky others were excited to discover the opportunity when they arrived.
The event also coincided with the launch of LAMILL Bliss espresso as a Bruvi B-Pod, which joins best selling LAMILL Black Onyx coffee, extending the partnership between the two LA-based companies. LAMILL describes Bliss as their “gateway espresso, not as light as modern, not as dark as traditional”. To produce this popular blend, each coffee origin is roasted separately to maximize sweetness and tame acidity while preserving mild fruit notes. Delicious as a shot or Americano, Bliss also holds up well to milk for a latte or cappuccino.
Attendees were offered samples of Bliss espresso and Black Onyx coffee brewed by Bruvi. Those who missed the giveaway were provided a generous discount offer on a Bruvi brewer with purchase of any box of LAMILL B-Pods.
“Sunday coffee and breakfast at the LAMILL cafe is a Silverlake neighborhood ritual,” noted Bruvi Chief Marketing and Social Impact Officer, Diane Kuyoomjian. “This event was a perfect opportunity to introduce LAMILL customers to Bruvi and showcase how they can also enjoy their favorite brew at home.”
Giveaway recipients were impressed with the coffee and espresso made with Bruvi - as well as the design, quality and versatility of the brewer - and excited to easily make their favorite coffee beverages at home.
Those in the neighborhood who missed the event can still check out Bruvi at the LAMILL cafe, where a Bruvi brewer is set up to brew samples and LAMILL B-Pods are available for sale.
