Saka Matcha is ceremonial grade matcha, sourced from a third generation, family-owned Japanese company. Shade grown in Shizuoka, near Mt. Fuji – the most prized tea growing region – first flush tencha is harvested each Spring. Freshly picked tencha is steamed, dried and then stone ground into vibrant green matcha powder with a distinctive sweet, slightly sweet grassy flavor.

I wanted to love it...
I was waiting for this product for so long and so excited to try it, but unfortunately I cannot say that this is my favorite product by BRUVI. Since it says that it has oatmillk, I was expecting it to be "milkier" or at least have more significant matcha flavor. I was trying to make it for smaller size cup to make it stronger and less water, but it's still about the same. I love matcha , but I am not a fan of this one.

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback. To clarify, Saka Lightly Sweetened Matcha does not contain oatmilk, though we know many people like adding their favorite type of milk. It is made of ceremonial grade matcha, with some tencha leaves (the source of matcha) and raw cane sugar for a bit of sweetness. We're sorry that this isn't what you expected but if you still have some remaining pods, you might try adding some milk to see if you like it better. One other suggestion: some of our team make matcha affogatos by pouring a small shot of matcha over ice cream or frozen yogurt. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
