Do a search on any social media platform for trending coffee drinks and you’ll surely see some version of a Brown Sugar Latte. And with good reason - whether hot or iced, many of us love the combination of espresso, milk and the sweet, caramel notes of brown sugar.
For Bruvi users, it’s super easy to make this yummy beverage at home. Thanks to our friends at Portland Syrups for their cinnamon-y version in the recipe below.
We like using Poppy Hill Full Bloom espresso or Wonderland Euphoria espresso, but you can use your favorite espresso B-Pod and the Portland Syrups Brown Sugar Simple Syrup available on bruvi.com. This recipe calls for oat milk, but you can substitute for another type of milk if you prefer.
Cinnamon Brown Sugar Latte
Ingredients
8 oz oat milk
3 tsp Portland Syrups Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3-4 oz brewed Bruvi espresso pod (we like Full Bloom or Euphoria)
Extra cinnamon and nutmeg to garnish
Directions
In a pot, combine oat milk with cinnamon, bring to a simmer, then remove from heat.
Brew espresso in a 12oz mug, then stir in our Brown Sugar Simple Syrup.
Froth the oat milk, then pour into your coffee mug. Garnish with nutmeg, if desired.
