As much as millions love the convenience of single-serve coffee, it’s also long been known for often lukewarm coffee (not to mention weak and watery, but that’s for another blog article). Enter Bruvi and our precision heating system.
Bruvi is the first to use a heater thick film technology, something typically found only in the most high end espresso machines. Here’s five important benefits:
-
Bruvi heats up rapidly, in about five seconds. Compare that to the less efficient boiler systems in other single-serve brewers, which take up to 30 seconds to heat - an eternity when you’re rushing in the morning to get that important first cup of coffee.
-
Bruvi heats up to 200 degrees, for hotter coffee and offers precision temperature control, within + / - one degree. Combined with our Auto Optimized brewing technology, where Bruvi scans each B-Pod and auto adjusts all the brewing parameters, including temperature, for the specific recipe and optimal brew of each individual pod - that means coffee brewed exactly as the roaster intended.
-
Bruvi offers rapid temperature adjustment for cold brew. That means you can brew a cup of coffee then immediately start a cold brew without extra waiting.
-
Bruvi is more energy efficient, as it only heats the amount of water for the specific cup size you are brewing. Plus Bruvi uses no energy in standby mode. Other single-serve brewers take up to 2 minutes to shut off.
-
Bruvi offers a high altitude setting for locations above 5,000 feet above sea level. This ensures that the water won’t boil at that elevation. (To put Bruvi into High Altitude Mode, simply press the Hotter + Cold Brew buttons at the same time until they blink green. To revert to regular brewing, repeat the same process and the buttons will blink white.)
All of that adds up to one more reason thousands are upgrading their coffee to Bruvi. So why would you settle for lukewarm coffee, espresso or Americanos?
