Organic Black Gold Coffee

I usually stick with Bruvi’s espresso pods because I mostly drink iced Americanos, so I wasn’t sure how much I’d enjoy a regular coffee pod. Organic Black Gold ended up being a really nice change of pace.

It’s a smooth, rich dark roast with somewhat noticeable chocolate and hazelnut notes (never as strong as described, but present), but it never tastes bitter or overly smoky. The low acidity makes it easy to drink black, and it has enough body to stand up well over ice if you want a chilled coffee instead of an Americano. The flavor is strong without being harsh, which isn’t always easy to find in a single-serve coffee.
