What Specialty Coffee Drink Will You Make?

It’s time to let loose with some of our favorite boozy coffee drinks to start the new year. From espresso to cold brew, from vodka to mezcal, we have something for all coffee and alcohol preferences! 

**For all iced drinks we recommend letting the coffee cool down to room temperature before mixing.

1. Espresso Martini

The OG coffee cocktail that never goes out of style.

What you’ll need:

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini or cocktail glass! Pro tip – use a double shot and double the entire recipe to fill your martini glass. 

2. El Cafecito 

El Cafecito

A masterpiece for any Cuban coffee lover.  

What you’ll need:

  • 1.5 oz dark rum
  • .5 oz coffee liqueur
  • .5 oz triple sec
  • .5 oz simple syrup (or to taste) 
  • 2 dashes of chocolate bitters

Instructions: Shake all ingredients (except bitters). Add to a tumbler with ice and top with bitters last. 

3. Colorado Bulldog

A decadent coffee delight that makes for the perfect nightcap. 

What you’ll need:

  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz cream
  • 1-2 oz cola

Instructions: In a short glass tumbler filled with ice add vodka, coffee liqueur and cream. Top with cola.

4. Affogato Martini

An alcoholic take on one of our favorite coffee desserts

What you’ll need:

Instructions: shake coffee liqueur, vodka and espresso in a shaker with ice. Pour into a martini glass filled with a scoop of ice cream or gelato.  

5. Cold Oaxacan Coffee 

Cold Oaxacan Coffee

A smoky trip south of the border that you’ll be sure to love! 

What you’ll need:

Instructions: Stir mezcal, coffee liqueur, cold brew and simple syrup with a cinnamon stick in a tumbler. Enjoy! 

6. Siciliano 

Siciliano

A coffee cocktail with some Italian inspired flare!

What you’ll need:

Instructions: Shake alcohol, cold brew and simple syrup in a shaker with ice, pour into a glass and add club soda and orange garnish

7. (Iced) Irish Coffee

A cold take on a tried and true classic! 

What you’ll need:

Instructions: Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice, pour into a glass and add heavy cream to taste/color.
