Creamsicle Matcha Latte. A Sunny Twist on Matcha.



Bright citrus plus creamy vanilla meet matcha in a twist on the nostalgic creamsicle flavor. No wonder its become a summer sensation. 

You can easily make this viral recipe by using orange and vanilla syrups, along with a Saka Matcha B-Pod. Time permitting, you can make a cold foam using a splash of the syrups frothed into heavy cream, but it’s delicious either way.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz brewed matcha (from Saka Matcha B-Pod)

  • 1 tbsp Portland Syrups orange syrup

  • ½ - 1 tbsp Portland Syrups vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 6 oz cold milk of your choice

  • Optional, for cold foam: 2 oz heavy cream (very cold)

  • Ice cubes

Directions - Simple preparation

  • Add the orange syrup and vanilla syrup to a tall glass

  • Add ice cubes

  • Pour in the milk and stir gently

  • Pour the brewed matcha over the milk 

  • Stir until fully combined.

  • Garnish with a little orange zest, if desired.

Directions - Cold foam

  • Prepare per above directions

  • Froth heavy cream with a splash each of orange and vanilla syrups until thick 

  • Top beverage with the cold foam
