Coffee, But Make it Refreshing. Three Summer Coffee Recipes

Lazy summer days are the perfect time to chill with easy coffee beverages. Whether you’re hanging around the pool with friends, hosting a family gathering or just looking for a refreshing afternoon treat for yourself, these recipes offer flavor without a lot of fuss, thanks to Bruvi and delicious
flavored syrups you can find in the Bruvi Goods & Gear marketplace.

Orange Espresso Tonic

It doesn’t get more refreshing than this mixture of espresso, tonic water and orange syrup. We like using espresso varieties with citrus notes such as Mulholland Roasters Causu or Wonderland Euphoria or Oasis Decaf espresso. If you’re serving multiple people, you can pre-brew espresso B-Pods and chill until you’re ready to make this tasty mocktail.

Ingredients

Directions

  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes

  • Pour the orange syrup over the ice

  • Add tonic water and stir

  • Add espresso. For a layered look, pour the espresso over the back of a spoon

  • Garnish with orange slice

Important: never brew a B-Pod directly into iced filled glass

Vanilla Cold Brew

With Bruvi, you can brew up cold brew in just a few minutes instead of overnight, making it easy to enjoy this delicious beverage any time. While it’s hard to beat the basic combination of creamy vanilla and coffee, you can make it more indulgent by adding a second flavored syrup such as  hazelnut, caramel, lavender or cardamom

Ingredients

Directions

  • Pour the cold brew into a tall glass

  • Add the vanilla syrup and stir

  • Add ice cubes, stir again and serve

Iced Lavender Latte

Ingredients

Directions

  • Pour the brewed espresso into a tall glass

  • Add the flavored syrups and stir

  • Add milk and ice cubes

  • Stir again and enjoy

Variations: Prefer a different flavor? Substitute your favorite syrup flavor (hazelnut? cardamom? caramel? for the lavender syrup.
