    This is a Legendary Coffee

Befitting the legendary road to California known as Route 66, this Peruvian organic coffee is a great tasting coffee that delivers legendary level satisfaction. And, of course, it's a guilt free pleasure experience popping in my Route 66 B-Pod since I can dispose of it with a Guilt Free Toss into my trash bucket.

    it is not a dark-roast

At best this is a medium roast coffee. Very light bodied as well. The fruity nose is what gives away the roasting level. They should really just admit that they don't have any dark-roasts. The reason they lean towards lighter roast coffee is because they don't require a substantial body for their flavor profile. And the large drawback of the bruvi system is that they still only use 10 Gm of coffee in their pods. It simply can't make a dark roast taste good in a 10oz cup with this small amt of grinds.

    Hi John,
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. It may be helpful to share some info about our coffees. We do offer several dark roasts as well as coffees throughout the roast spectrum. If Route 66 is not to your liking, you may prefer Spellbinder French Roast, which is an extra dark coffee roasted past the "second crack". One of our best sellers is LAMILL Black Onyx, which is also dark roast. We are able to offer several light and medium roasts because our brewing technology enables Bruvi to showcase light roast coffee, which is not something other single-serve brewers can do. We are working to introduce more coffees this year and look forward to offering you additional dark roast choices. Also, all of our coffee B-Pods contain 13.6 - 15g of coffee/pod. We are able to pack up to 40% more than other pods because of our specific pod technology (including that the needle pierces the top, not the bottom of the pod). That enables Bruvi to avoid over-extracting the coffee which is unfortunately typical of other single-serve brewers. Our default coffee brew size is 8oz but you can also brew 6, 10 or 12 ounces (or select stronger, hotter or low acid options). The brew recipe is adjusted at each size, but you may find a larger cup size a bit less strong. Should you have other questions about our coffee, please reach out to our team at hello@bruvi.com. Thanks for being part of the Bruvi community.

    Hi Thomas,
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Sounds like you prefer an extra dark roast. If you've not already tried it, I'd suggest our Spellbinder French Roast. LAMILL Black Onyx is also a dark roast, though not as dark as the Spellbinder, and has quickly become a customer favorite.
