If you’re like us, there’s nothing like a festive coffee recipe to get you in the holiday spirit. This year, we worked with two of our favorite social media collaborators who developed holiday coffee recipes using Bruvi espresso that look as stunning as they taste. You just might find a new holiday favorite. Plus we won’t tell if you decide to enjoy these well into the new year.
Using a holiday themed mug will add to the aesthetic whether you’re taking pics, serving these recipes to guests or enjoying your own delicious holiday moment.
If you take pics of these recipes - or any others using Bruvi - we invite you to share them using #mybruvi and @ilovebruvi for a chance to be featured in the photo gallery on our site.
Eggnog Latte
This take on eggnog + espresso from @creatingkaitlin is perfect for holiday breakfast or brunch, but we won’t be surprised if you decide to serve it several times through the season.
Eggnog Latte
What you need:
1 espresso B-pod from Bruvi (Mulholland Causu is a great choice)
1/4 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
1/4 cup eggnog
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
Here’s how to make it:
Brew the espresso using the Bruvi brewer.
Heat up and froth the eggnog, milk, maple syrup and cinnamon together until combined.
Pour over espresso and top with nutmeg and whipped cream.
Pumpkin White Chocolate Latte
For many of us, it’s not the holidays without pumpkin. This recipe from @carbzncoffee pairs pumpkin and white chocolate for an indulgent twist on a mocha latte. Not only are we loving this for the winter holidays, but you’ll want to remember it next fall when those pumpkin cravings kick in again.
Pumpkin White Chocolate Latte
What you need:1 Bruvi espresso pod (We suggest Wonderland Euphoria Espresso)
1 square of white chocolate
2 tbsp pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
whipped cream to top
pumpkin spice to top
Here’s how to make it:
Mix together the pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, milk and sugar. Blend together with a hand frother. Put aside.
Place the white chocolate square in an espresso cup and brew the Bruvi espresso over it.
Pour the pumpkin-milk mixture into a glass, then pour the espresso over it.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle pumpkin spice on top as garnish.
Midnight Sparkle Mocktail
New Years celebrations call for bling, like this sparkly and scrumptious espresso mocktail, created by @carbzncoffee. She developed the recipe using Wonderland Euphoria Espresso but you can use your favorite Bruvi espresso option. Enjoy it either hot or iced as you ring in the new year, or keep the sparkles going at New Year’s Day brunch.
Midnight Sparkle Mocktail
What you need:
1 1/2 tsp nutella
1 tsp Irish cream syrup
1/2 cup milk for iced, 2/3 cups milk for hot
1 Bruvi espresso pod
ice (optional)
1/8 tsp edible glitter (mix in)
whipped cream to top
caramel syrup to top
edible gold sprinkles and glitter to top
How to make it:
Blend together the nutella, Irish cream syrup and milk, using a hand frother.
Pour the milk mixture into a cup. Brew the Bruvi espresso into the milk mixture.
Add glitter to the milk + coffee + ice mixture for added sparkle.
If making an iced latte, add ice cubes.
Top with whipped cream, then caramel syrup. Garnish with gold sprinkles and glitter.
